Midfield Primary School
Midfield Primary School is a two form entry primary school which has an exceptional outdoor learning offer including an outdoor music room, three forest schools and a large edible garden. Executive leadership is shared across Midfield and Leesons Primary Schools. Midfield Primary School includes a specialist provision for pupils with autistic spectrum disorder.
Midfield Primary School has been fortunate enough to qualify to join the government's National School Breakfast Programme (NSBP) which is being delivered by the charities Family Action and Magic Breakfast.
As an NSBP school we will be able to provide free breakfast bagels to all children in the main school hall between 8.30am and 8.45am. If children present their reading book at the top gate they will be allowed into school from 8.30am to sit and relax in the hall and eat their bagel whilst reading their book. After this time they can collect their bagel from the school hall on the way to class. This means that all children will be able to benefit from the offer of a healthy breakfast along with being settled and ready to learn at the start of the school day.
We will be launching this in school on Monday 11th February 2019. Magic Breakfast will be an additional offering to our established Breakfast Club Rise & Shine which will continue to run from 7.30am-8.50am.
