Defibrillator Fund-raising at St Mary Cray Primary Academy

£954 / £1500 - a HUGE thank-you to everyone involved for getting the ball rolling!

St Mary Cray Primary Academy are undertaking lots of fund-raising activities in an endeavour to raise money to fund a life saving piece of equipment: a defibrillator. A defibrillator is a device that gives a high energy electric shock to the heart of someone who is in cardiac arrest. This high energy shock is called defibrillation, and it's an essential part in trying to save the life of someone who's in cardiac arrest.

Our Target:

We have a goal of £1500 to buy a defibrillator and support funding for additional first aid training.

We have a number of differnet fund events coming up:

  • Gents' Gift Room (13th June 2019)
  • Pyjama Day (23rd May 2019)

Easter Raffle (4th April 2019)

Our third fund-raising instalment was cracking! Our Easter Raffle saw over 20 egg-static winners take home Easter hampers, chocolate eggs, chocolate bunnies, toys and more!

We raised we raised an amazing £528!

Defibrillator Disco (7th March 2019):

The first of our Defibrillator fund-raising events was a huge success! Over half of our students came together and we raised an amazing £425!

The children enjoyed themselves dancing to DJ Mick's tunes and flashing lights, eating yummy hotdogs and sweets.

A huge thank - you to all who took part and helped out especially to our caterers Olive Dining Ltd. who provided and prepared the hot dogs for us free of charge and Morrisons in Petts Wood who funded all of our sweets and goodies.
